先週沖縄を訪れた。
日本が南北に長くって本当に良かった。
沖縄という島が日本で本当に良かった。
そう思わせてくれる内地とは違った圧倒的な力強い自然の力を感じた。
仏教でも神道でもない。でも何か神秘的な生命力を島全体のありとあらゆる生き物から感じる。
いつも見ているはずの太陽もリミッターが外されたように光り、というか、燃えていた。
海外旅行に行って何もかもが違うのは当たり前。だからびっくりもしなかったりする。
エチオピアに二年間住んでもそうだった。
でも沖縄は日本だ。日本語だ。日本人だ。でも環境が全く違う。
だからすごくびっくりし、凄くうれしくなった。
初の沖縄本島であったが、今後も何度も訪れるであろうことを確信させてくれる滞在であった。

Visited Okinawa last week.
Thank to the shape of Japan that is long in north and south.
Thank to the fact that Okinawa is Japan.
There was a powerful nature which overwhelmed us and it was totally different from the main land of Japan.
It was not Buddhism or Shintoism, but we felt something mysterious life and force of the nature from all the species everywhere around the island.
Sun, which we see everyday is also totally different as it releases its limiter.
We don’t surprise much to the things we see during traveling abroad.
I didn’t during the 2 years of living in Ethiopia as well.
But Okinawa is Japan, people speak Japanese and they are Japanese. But the environment is totally different.
We surprised a lot and felt really happy about it.
It was my first time visiting the main island of Okinawa, I’ll visit here again and again.
